Terms and conditions 

Effective Date: March 2025

 

These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Done With Cleaning (“we,” “our,” “us”) to the customer (“you,” “your”). By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

 

1. Services Provided

 

1.1 We offer residential cleaning services as per the agreed scope of work.

1.2 Additional services beyond the original agreement may be provided upon request and may incur additional charges.

1.3 Due to cross contamination, we will be using the customer’s hoover. If unable to provide a hoover it will be subject to availability. Please contact to discuss further. 

 

2. Booking & Cancellation

 

2.1 All bookings must be made in advance via phone, email, or our website.

2.2 All bookings must be secured through a deposit at least a week in advance. 

2.3 You must provide at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment.

2.4 Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the original total payment. 

 

3. Pricing & Payment

 

3.1 Prices are based on the size and condition of the premises and the type of cleaning required.

3.2 A £20 deposit is required upon booking. 3.3 Deposits are non-refundable if cancelled 24 hours before scheduled clean. 

3.4 Online payments must be made in full 24 hours before.

3.5 Cash payments are to be made on the day directly to the cleaner before starting. 

3.6 Late payments may incur additional fees.

3.7 We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled clean if payment has not been received. 

 

4. Access to Property

 

4.1 You must provide safe and reasonable access to the premises.

4.2 If our cleaners are unable to access the property at the agreed time, a call-out fee may apply.

 

5. Liability & Insurance

 

5.1 We are insured for damages caused by our employees. However, we are not liable for:

• Pre-existing damages

• Loss of items due to unsecured premises

• Wear and tear of furniture, flooring, or fixtures

5.2 Any claims for damages must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

 

6. Health & Safety

 

6.1 Our cleaners will follow health and safety guidelines.

6.2 If unsafe conditions are found, we reserve the right to refuse service.

 

7. Customer Responsibilities

 

7.1 Please ensure personal items and valuables are stored safely before cleaning.

7.2 You must inform us of any fragile or delicate items that require special care.

7.3 Please ensure your hoover is left in an easily accessible designated area agreed with your cleaner. 

 

8. Complaints & Satisfaction Guarantee

 

8.1 If you are dissatisfied with the service, you must report it within 24 hours, and we will attempt to resolve the issue.

8.2 Refunds or re-cleaning may be offered at our discretion.

 

9. Confidentiality & Privacy

 

9.1 We respect your privacy and will not share personal details with third parties unless required by law.

 

10. Amendments

 

10.1 We may update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website.
